Mythbusters was quite entertaining tonight - focused on boozing's effect on judgment. One scene involved the hosts rating attractiveness of random face pics of strangers of the opposite sex on a scale of 1-10 sober, tipsy, and intoxicated. They then analyzed the results. What was quite telling was the lady's much more frank rating of men when legally drunk. As I've always said, alcohol is a great truth-detector...
Another interesting item in the media is Dr Keith Ablow's criticism of J Crew's Ad Campaign here:
http://www.foxnews.com/health/2011/04/11/j-crew-plants-seeds-gender-identity/. Not surprisingly, I agree
with Dr Ablow's views and concerns. This will tie -in to one of my most provocative chapters in MissLed,
Single Mothers. Our boys are suffering a terrible price when they are intentionally raised without a loving,
wise father present.
